Design
For this prototype, I was prompted to create a video prototype for an interactive design for a product in the health and wellness category that clearly shows a scenario based use-case for the product. To do this I decided to create a video for a nutrition app and how the user would interact with the app throughout the day. This app concept was a coding project I have done in another class and wanted to iterate on the concept to test the usability of the app through this video.
Storyboard
For the first step, I decided to make a storyboard that had my shot lists as well as descriptions for what I imagined each scene to be like. I chose no background music because I wanted a clean and simple video. I also chose body shots over full body/face shots so I could focus fully on the interactions of the app rather than the person themselves. I am unsure if this is a good choice since we cannot see the person's emotions while using the app, therefore leaving out some information of how the user felt when interacting with the app. I think this video would be a good for concept testing but not as effective for user experience. Due to my lack of resources and time, I could not get someone to film things for me so all the shots are stationary, but the shots being stationary gave the whole video a nice aesthetic.

Analysis
During the feedback in class, I specifically asked for usability feedback and got feedback that the concept of the app is really clear and easily understandable. I think my video is effective for usability testing, since it has a clear emphasis on what the app does and how the user should interact with it, with a clear purpose.
Some improvements I would make would be in the pasta typing scene where it was a little unclear of what the user would be seeing/interacting with. This unclear scene would have been easily fixed if a little bit more detail was added.
Overall, it was an effective design for usability since the video did a good job showing what the app was and how the user would interact with the app.
Reflection
As it was my first time making video, the learning curve for how to use adobe premiere pro, how to add sound, navigating the application, adding texts was very steep and I learned how to use the app in a generic sense. I had a hard time making the audio not too loud/spike but also not too quiet since the audio I used were all different volumes. I also struggled with figuring out what angles worked best and trying to find a way to prop up my phone to get the right angles.
Something I really enjoyed the whole process and felt very accomplished at the end after filming and editing the video, having a finished product that serves its purpose well and it being my first video I've ever made was pretty cool.
Some pros I found while using Adobe Premier Pro was that it was kind of easy to find thing because the clear layout. Finding where to upload new clips, where to go to edit each clip, where to go to edit the audio, where different tools were was really easy and the search bar for tools was really helpful when I could not find something right away.
Some cons I found while using Adobe Premier Pro was that it was really difficult to move around the audio/videos when the space is full of other videos, audio especially was difficult since there were multiple locations to change how loud the snippet was. When I tried dragging the audio sections to a different spot, it would change the volume of the clip instead of moving. This was frustrating because no matter what I did, the same issue would arise and I still have not found a solution to this issue.
